? ? ? ?FSRU is the abbreviation of Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit, also commonly known as LNG-FSRU. It integrates multiple functions such as LNG (liquefied natural gas) reception, storage, transshipment, and regasification export. It is an integrated special equipment equipped with a propulsion system and has the function of an LNG carrier.

The main function of FSRU is the storage and regasification of LNG. After pressurizing and gasifying the LNG received from other LNG ships, the natural gas is transported to the pipeline network and provided to the users.

The device can be used as a substitute for traditional land LNG receiving stations or as ordinary LNG ships. Currently, it is mainly used as LNG receiving and gasification devices, LNG transportation and gasification ships, platform-type LNG receiving terminals and gravity infrastructure offshore receiving devices.
